Agreement to Terms
By booking a consultation or placing an order with Floor The Room, you agree to the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully before proceeding.
Orders & Cancellations
• Mobile Showroom Orders: Once you confirm an order during your mobile showroom appointment, it becomes a binding agreement. Cancellations may not be accepted once work has started, and any costs already incurred may be chargeable.
• Price Adjustments: If the final cost differs significantly from your original estimate, you have the right to cancel and receive a full refund.
• Cooling-Off Period: Orders placed through mobile showroom consultations are not subject to a statutory cooling-off period.
Product Inspection & Delivery
• Inspection Upon Delivery: Please inspect all goods as soon as they are delivered. Any damages or discrepancies must be reported within 48 hours.
• Delivery Timing: Delivery times are estimates and not guaranteed. It’s important that someone is available to accept the delivery at the arranged time.
Delivery & Installation
• Site Readiness: The installation area must be prepared ahead of time. If additional work is required—such as subfloor preparation—additional charges may apply.
• Fitting Services: Our installation services are carried out by qualified partners. More complex installations, such as staircases or detailed cuts, may incur extra fees.
Subfloor Preparation
If subfloor remedial work is necessary (e.g., levelling, ply boarding), we will inform you of any additional charges before starting. If you choose not to proceed with this work, the project will be considered “supply only.”
Our products are guaranteed to meet satisfactory quality standards and align with the agreed specifications. Manufacturer warranties vary and typically cover manufacturing defects—not normal wear and tear, misuse, or poor maintenance.
Product Guarantees
Delivery & Collection
• Third-Party Couriers: We work with reliable third-party couriers for deliveries. If no one is present to receive your delivery, a re-delivery fee may be applied.
• Returns: If you wish to return a product, we’ll assist you with the process. All returns must be in original, unused condition.
